The weather played nice on March 21 as the Huskies took on the Steve Roth Relays at Washington High School.
Connor Grinstead was the top scorer for Highland, taking home 7.5 of the Huskies 21 total points scored.
He took third in the long jump at 17-feet 9-inches and was part of a sprint medley that finished in third place.
Zack Lasek was third in the discus at 119-feet 3-inches and scratched out of the shot put. Other Huskies in throwing events included Chase Schultz placing 10th in the shot put at 33-feet 3-inches and Eli Slaymaker placing 20th at 26-feet 9.25-inches.
Kadin Jepson took fifth in the 200-meter dash at 25.39 and was part of the third-place sprint medley.
In the 100-meter dash, Trey Lasek placed sixth with a time of 12.49. The event was won by Winfield’s Brandon Snowden at 11.89.
Jacob Roling placed 15th in the 1600 at 6:13.23 and 18th in the 400 at 1:09.95.
The Huskies ran Monday at Notre Dame-West Burlington, but results were not immediately available.
