Harmon Miller earned a win on the mound and doubled twice at the plate in a 3-2 victory for Lone Tree over Louisa-Muscatine. 

Miller gave up zero earned runs in a five-inning start for Lone Tree. The junior gave up just two hits and walked two more. He was 2-4 from the plate with two doubles and an RBI. 

Senior Bryce Houser continued his hot streak to start the season by going 3-3 with a double from the plate. Houser is 6-7 to start the season. 

Lone Tree scored three runs in the first two innings to take a 3-0 lead. They gave up one run in the fourth and sixth innings, but held strong to hold on for the 3-2 win. 

Right fielder Will Hotz also added a pair of hits, going 2-3. 

Avery Knock game on for the save, needing 28 pitches over two innings and giving up no hits. 

In two others games this week, Lone Tree dropped a 8-0 game to Mediapolis and lost to Pekin 15-1. 

The Lions are 2-2 on the season so far.
