Iowa Mennonite will head to the state soccer tournament after No. 16 IMS upset No. 7 Solon 1-0.

At the 71-minute mark Jacob Boller took advantage of a rare mistake by the Solon back line as a ball sailed over the head of a defender. Boller then checked the goalie's position and chipped it over his head and into the back of the net.

After that, Iowa Mennonite successfully defended the last nine minutes and didn't allow another shot on goal.

The substate final win qualifies Iowa Mennonite for the state tournament starting next Thursday in Des Moines.
