Highland took down Iowa Mennonite 7-5 on Wednesday afternoon, keeping IMS from a share of the SEISC title.

The win splits the season series between the two and pushes both teams to a 10-7 record.

Trey Lasek and Brody Burton each had three hits, with Lasek hitting for two doubles.

Third baseman Jacob Leonard hit a solo shot in the third inning to give Highland a 5-0 lead at that point.

Iowa Mennonite attempted a comeback, but after bringing the game to 5-4 and 6-5, couldn't find the extra run needed.

Dan Burton was the winning pitcher after four innings of work. Chase Schultz pitched three innings in relief.
