Toddler Time, Fridays, 10:30-11 a.m.

March 7 – L.E.T.’s Creative Arts for Adults age 55 and over, where the activity will be journaling. Register for this event at the library or call 319-656-3501.

March 16 – Kalona Public Library Annual Book Sale. Open to the public from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Friends members can enter at 9 a.m. Memberships to become a Friends member can be purchased on the day of the book sale from 9-9:30 a.m.

New adult fiction: “Untouchable” by Jayne Ann Krentz, “Rule of Law” by John Lescroat, and “Flights of Fancy” by Jen Turano.

New adult nonfiction: “Smart Ass: How a Donkey Challenged Me to Accept His True Nature and Rediscover My Own” by Margaret Winslow, and “The Heartbeat of Wounded Knee” by David Treuer.

New young adult: “Love & Gelato” by Jena Evans Welch.

New junior fiction: “The Bad Guys in Superbad” by Aaron Blabey, and “Geronimo on Ice” by Geronimo Stilton.

Parent collection: “Mom, Jason’s Breathing on Me: The Solution to Sibling Bickering” by Anthony E. Wolf, Ph.D.

New children’s books: “Baby Shark: Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo,” “Lego Disney Princess: The Friendship Bridge” by Laura Buller, and “Batman: Batman Versus the Riddler” by Donald Lemke
