Kalona Public Library


There will be no Storytime or Toddler Time during the month of August.

Every Friday during August there will be “free play” in the program room for toddlers with toys available from 10-11 a.m.

There will be activities at the library on early-out school days starting in September. Check the library’s website or Facebook for details.

New junior nonfiction: “Science Comics presents- Volcanoes: Fire and Life” by Jon Chad.

New easy reader books: “Rappy and His Favorite Things” by Dan Gutman; “Fly Guy Presents: Garbage & Recycling”  by Tedd Arnold; “Big Shark, Little Shark go to School” by Anna Membrino.

New children’s books: “Willbee the Bumblebee” by Craig Smith; “How to Get Your Teacher Ready” by Jean Reagan; “Look Out Kindergarten, Here I Come” by Nancy Carlson; “Curious George Five- Minute Stories” by Margret Rey.

New children’s DVDS: “Missing Link;” “The Backyardigans: The Snow Fort;” “Ugly Dolls;” “Madly Madagascar;” “Hello Kitty”- three DVD Collection.

New DVD: “The Upside;” “Marvel Avengers Endgame” (Blu-Ray).
