The Kalona Historical Society’s Museum Week culminates with a golf benefit on Friday, July 12.

There are still opportunities for golfers and sponsors for the event.

Museum Week runs July 8-12 and features a variety of events and activities: Family Day with free admission to the Kalona Historical Village on Monday, Business Day with a scavenger hunt on Tuesday, tent revivals on Wednesday and a quilting bee on Thursday.

It starts with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Teams of four will play best shot. One of the holes will offer a shot at $10,000 for a hole in one. The day culminates with dinner and prizes at 6 p.m.

Organizers are still looking for event sponsors and hole sponsors.

For more information or to register a team, contact Nancy Roth at the Historical Village, (319) 656-3232.
